David Wedding

It’s been awhile, blog.

I photographed my first Wedding “officially” last month. It was such an challenge, yet amazing. I chose the photos below mainly at random, there were so many… and I was really please with myself at how they turned out.

The wedding was Alice and Wonderland Themed, not in a tacky way – it was beautiful. There was also a photo booth set up at the reception, which was totally great.

Anyway, I don’t have much to say.. so here they are.

Mitch & Kristan – Wedding!

Hi, fellow WordPress bloggers, strangers and friends whom might be reading this.

I’ve been neglected this blog/webpage and just posting my photos in general. We’ve/I’ve been trying to get my life on track.. Anyway, this past weekend I attended my cousin’s wedding in Sherbrooke. It was a small, yet beautiful wedding. &after 14 years together and two lovely babies later, they finally tied the knot.

I wasn’t the photographer, however I was asked to take a few pictures of the groom getting ready. Natually I love taking pictures.. so I did just that throughout the whole wedding. It was super difficult, as when there is a hired photographer there, you need to stay out of their way – therefore I was on the sidelines and can’t wait until I have the chance to do my first wedding, and put my creative visons to use.

Here are a few shots I took:

Summer in a Backyard.

The photographs I am about to post were taken in Lower South River – yesterday. My mother had to work there, so I tagged along to help. Although I ended up outside for a little bit; taking pictures. I can never pass up an opportunity when I have my camera with me.. It’s probably the most fun I could have.

Here are some photos from around the yard…

These are everywhere lately. Even our freshly-cut grass has abnormally tall ones sticking up all over the place. I couldn't resist taking a picture. - as when we were little they were so fun to watch blow in the wind.

Instagram Fun!

I’m heading down home today, to Antigonish. My baby girl (puppydog) has been sick, and I prefer to take her to a vet she/I am familiar with. I’ll be leaving behind the rest of my little family, but I girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

Since I’ll be home, for however long.. I am sure I will have some more photo opportunities and a photo blog will be coming again very soon.

I recently got an iPhone and fell in love with Intsagram. Although this isn’t my best photography, the phone does capture some good quality images (for a cellphone that is). I figured I’d share the fun photographs.

A Saint Mary’s Graduation!

Yesterday I met a family after their brother’s / friends Graduation to take photos around the Saint Mary’s Campus here in Halifax. The Graduate graduated in Business of Commerce, the women were dressed beautifully, and it was an over-all experience – as the majority of the time they were not speaking English. It was all completely unexpected, but they wanted basic Grad Photos and I hope I achieved that for them.

The Wonderful Joey!

I’ve just been sitting here with Joey my bichon. – she hasn’t been feeling the best. Her ninth birthday just past, I know she won’t let her old age get to her.

Anyway, I decided to dig up some pictures of her, the photos are all recent-ish, but do date back to last summer.. I haven’t yet dedicated a full blog to her yet, and heeeeey she is a huge part of my life. (Joey is featured in many of my other entries) I hope you enjoy her cuteness as much as I do…

I know I lack in writing when I post my blogs, however they are mainly to display my photographs. I have a  photo session tomorrow afternoon, as well as a graduation shoot. – more blogs to come soon.

Mother’s Day Stroll

Happy Monday everyone!

I’m hoping the weekend was wonderful and you all had time to see your Mothers this past weekend.

We were HOME in Antigonish. Helped at the May Fest (discovered some gems for myself), celebrated a friends birthday, went on a “photo” drive, and of course spent time with our mom’s for Mothers Day!

Since the weather stayed beautiful all weekend, Dillan and I went out and took some photographs before we headed back to Dartmouth Sunday: All photos were taken at Bethany, St Martha’s and Pleasant Valley in Antigonish.

My Easter Creatures.

Hey hey all. I hope everyone enjoyed the Easter weekend, wether if it was with family, friends, girlfriend, boyfriend yourself or just your favorite pet.

I spent mine with my lovely partner in crime, Dillan and of course the wonderful Joey, we visited home to both of our mothers. Two dinners in one day, with way too many desserts. & lack of sleep. It was great to be home… I miss it already.  However, our Dartmouth home is nice too, so.. we’ll be happy here for now.

Here are some more pictures of the little creatures we spent Easter with. (I’m so sorry, if you’re all getting tired of seeing my pets) – I did photograph a family Monday afternoon, I may post those at a later date.

Thee incredible Baby Joey, although… not the best photo, I can never leave her out.  – This was when she first saw the new kitten (Panda) she couldn’t be happier.

Panda snuggling with his new teddy-bear.. he’s the puuurfect size for Panda’s little paws.

Bear is always putting his nose in my face!

My Abbey-boo, taking a  minute from studying weird organisms of the ocean.

Taking a turkey-nap on Uncle Ricky!

Our niece-puppy little Rosie. – Always causing trouble!
